This has 2 parts.

Please sign students into the COMPUTER part first and tell them when they finish this part to come back for the WRITTEN fill-in-the blank part.

You do not have to sign them into the checkin system for the written part–just have them complete it and staple their note card to it.

The lab adjacent to the WRITTEN TESTING LAB is CEN 455–it’s the GIS LAB.

It is open MONDAY through FRIDAY from Noon-2PM and from 3-5PM.

If you are scheduled to work in the CEN 456 Testing Lab during those times, then please make sure that the blinds are open so that we can see into the room next door and look over occasionally to see that things are going smoothly.

Let me know if there is any problem.

Thanks!

You should include all hours worked/to be worked from OCT 16th through OCT. 31st.

Paychecks for this will go out on NOV. 9th.

When you’re done entering your hours in ExpressLane, then check to see that the TOTAL number of hours is the same as on your WRITTEN TIMESHEET.

Sign your written timesheet and put it in my box in the lab.

Let me know if you have any problems entering your hours in ExpressLane.

You’ll notice that the Instructor’s Name–“Peterson” and the Course Number–“DA110” are not in the drop down lists on the checkin screen.

You have to type that information under “Comments”.

Exam #2 is available for the students taking the ONLINE PSY 201 class with Barb DEFILIPPO.

If you cannot access “Test Number Two” from the Quizzes Link, then try clicking on the link in Week 6.

(REMEMBER that students from her IN-CLASS sections of PSY 201 should take the WRITTEN EXAM–2nd file drawer.)

There is a new Instructor for the lab this term–Kym PETERSON. She is teaching DA 110–Dental Assisting.

Students are allowed to use a notecard, which they need to hand in with the exam–staple the notecard to the exam, but please paper clip the scantrons to the tests.

She has specified on the exam that students are only allowed to use ONE side of a 3 x 5 card.

The Instructor asked if we can take extra care in proctoring these students, because she heard from some of her other students that they were text messaging each other during the exams.

Please be sure to remind students that they need to have cell phones and other electronics turned off and put away during testing, and remind them to read the rules list. I think most of you have been doing this anyway.

Thanks 🙂

VERSION 2 is available for students to take thru SATURDAY, OCT.20th–it’s in the top file drawer.

PLEASE ASK STUDENTS IF THIS IS THEIR SECOND ATTEMPT if you check them into the PSY 236 exam, and then MAKE SURE YOU GIVE THEM VERSION 2.

There are TWO DIFFERENT INSTRUCTORS with PS 201 EXAMS in the lab–both are WRITTEN.

Stan TAYLOR’s PS 201 Exam #1 is on BLUE paper–he allows ONE 3 x 5 notecard

Steve CANDEE’s PS 201 Exam #1 is on WHITE paper–NO NOTES ALLOWED.

Both are in the top file drawer.

Please have students print their schedules and look up the Instructor using the CRN# if they are unsure who their instructor is–it’s the only sure way to give them the right exam.

Thanks–ask me if you have questions.

REMINDER: ANDERSON’s HST 104 TELECOURSE is in the top file drawer–students also may come in from her IN-CLASS HST 101 class–MAKE sure they need the HST 104 exam (TELECOURSE) and not the HST 101 exam.

The HST 101 Exams will be in the 2nd file drawer under ANDERSON, J. and they will have students’ names on them.
